About Us

Exterior view of the Elks Lodge building.
Exterior view of the Elks Lodge building.

At 117 N. 1st Street, the Watertown Elks Lodge has built a reputation that reviewers keep coming back to confirm: a $4.99 rotisserie chicken that has held its price while everything else around it has gotten more expensive. That alone says something about how this place is run. Families show up for dinner and leave full without checking their bank account afterward.

The lodge itself runs clean and organized. The bar is staffed by mixologists who actually know what they're doing, and the atmosphere is the kind you'd expect from a well-maintained fraternal hall, not a dive. Affordable drinks, knowledgeable staff, and a dining room that works equally well for a Tuesday night family meal or a corporate holiday party.

As part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, this lodge connects Watertown members to a national network of charitable giving, veterans' support, and community programming. The 4.6-star rating across 76 reviews isn't an accident. It reflects a place that takes both its mission and its menu seriously.

What We Offer

The lodge offers a full-service dining room anchored by that legendary rotisserie chicken, plus a rotating menu of affordable family-friendly plates. The dairy bar and court options round out a meal program designed to feed a crowd without breaking anyone's budget.

The full bar is open to members and guests, with mixologists who can handle everything from a classic Old Fashioned to whatever you're in the mood for on a Friday night. Private event space is available for corporate gatherings, holiday parties, and lodge functions, with a setup that reviewers have called smooth and well-organized.

Elks membership opens the door to additional savings, community events, charitable initiatives, and access to Elks lodges across the country. Whether you're a longtime member or just discovering the lodge, the value here, in food, in fellowship, and in service, is hard to match anywhere else in Watertown, Wisconsin.

"We toured the Elk's lodge and my now Husband was set on having our wedding here, he liked how it looked the feel of it just everything, we also were looking to have a ceremony and reception at the same place and the Elk's Lodge allowed that to happen if you rented the whole building. You just have to pay an extra $100 for them to set-up for the reception, the ceremony set-up was included in the price. So that day we signed it after we toured the building with Dave. Cindy was the one I started to communicate with and she was out of town so she arranged for us to meet with Dave. From here on out I emailed with Cindy, if I had a question and I emailed her she was so quick to respond which was so very nice. The Elk's Lodge is volunteers, We were told right away that we would be able to get in the Thursday before our wedding to set-up after 430. So then it was set-up for rehearsal on Friday. Well time got closer and Cindy told me to come in on Thursday and that someone would be there, I should come to decorate and make sure all my music worked. We go there on that Thursday and the chairs were all in a stack we met the guy who was there to help and we ended up setting up all the chair ourselves which I thought was included in our price; this was the 1st time that I was upset about our venue I then felt that if we had to set-up the chairs then we shouldn't be charged the other $100. They ordered us the wrong beer, weren't clear on the price to use the table cloths. Matt was great and helpful; but I think they need to find 1 person to communicate with not multiple"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
